Mr. Abramson and his siblings, Al, Jim, Anita, Louise, Bob and Darlene, were raised in Washington.  He graduated from West Valley High School in Spokane, WA, and then immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific during World War II.  He was honorably discharged in 1944 and married Betty May Troy in September 1946.

The Abramsons subsequently moved back to Spokane, WA, in 1987 to be with family, and he sold real estate for three years.  Later on, Lee and Betty moved to Lone Jack, MO, Pickens, SC, and eventually Amarillo, TX.  He served in part-time ministry the remainder of his life.
